I'm lately a bit obsessed with Benjamin Lacombe's work (as is also obvious in my default icon on lj). He's a French illustrator and makes wonderfully morbid books for children and adults. The book that reeled me in was a picture book about witches and now I'm totally addicted to his strange big eyed people in their big gothic houses.
