roginI was wondering, instead of comic wank-day with all it's likely unpleasantness couldn't we have a Caprica is the most brilliant thing in the universe and it's back-day?
Because it is back and it rocked so hard.
Just watched the new ep and there is already so much going on. First there was Clarice introducing her very worldly new afterlife, where the believers get resurrected into a virtual reality paradise. Fascinating idea imho. I mean what is religion after all if not a fantasy of immortality we created so that we don't have to be afraid of death. Now if we could actually make that fantasy real, why not do it instead of depending on the existence of some god?
It's a heaven that is really there for sure. Suddenly getting people to die for the cause would become a piece of cake. And if you become the gatekeeper of paradise you become insanely powerful too. It's a nightmare, especially with people like Clarice or Barnabas in charge.
But then there's Daniel already pitching the same idea comercially. And of course Tamra and Zoe already living it.
Also possibly Amanda? Could it be that she's not in reality anymore, because how could she have survived the fall?
Lacey is every bit as amazing as I remember her and if she makes her way up in the STO, now that the cylon body is lost, Clarice an Greely will have to watch their backs.
And finally Zoe beating the shit out of Tamra's clockwork orange gang. Now that was six kinds cool.
