So I just read "Twilight" and it left me with a dire need to mock, I'm afraid I can't do it as brilliantly as tkp  did here, but here's my little offering:

Buffy was too busy shaking from laughter and holding her sides to give him an answer.

Giles hopelessly tried to keep a straight face as he shielded his eyes against the bright foreign sunlight. “Actually, Spike, this new side effect of dimensional travel IS quite intriguing.”

“ I’ll kill you all, once I’m able to hurt you again!”

“Don’t worry”, Buffy managed to get out between giggles, “you’re hurting my eyeballs badly enough.”

Still she was unable to take them off brightly sparkling Spike in the middle of the clearing.

“God, I hate this place.”

Hee, thank you.
The sparkling is the twilight part of it. In that verse vampires...sparkle in the sunlight. I just figured Spike would hate to sparkle. :)
