My own thought is that she's a turned witch That would make a lot of sense too. After all it was Willow who did the slayer mojo. The symmetry would be very nice. On the other hand I'd love to see Buffy face off with a vampire-slayer (uhm... vamped slayer).
And I like the idea of Dracula fulfilling the snark role now - although I'm not expecting him to continue beyond the end of this arc. He's probably only going to be there for the arc, but that should be enough time to make a lot of unsettling comments with his unique sense for political correctness :D
