Those are wonderful! God, I wish my French was better. I'm trying to think if I've seen anything that detailed in American comics and - because I'm a bit out of touch - all I can think of is JH Williams, who illustrated Alan Moore's Promethea.

And I must look out for that Vertigo TPB. It looks interesting. It must date from the rather long recent period when my interest in the Buffyverse completely eclipsed my interest in comics.
