Hm, I think in the end I liked it  a lot.  It hinged on the main character of course and I found her really likeable. The new Klingons are silly, or their design is anyway. But all in all it felt like Trek, and like it always does it will take time to develop. Also I can only reall tell, once I have a ship to connect to.

It felt like Trek to me too, but not Trek set before the original series. I also liked the main character fine and thought the new Klingons were silly. Why on earth did they do that to them?

It was okay. I wasn't madly thrilled, but I'll continue watching.

I have no idea what rode them to mess up the Klingons like that.

I feel pretty much the same. Since they had all the Trek series on netflix though I tried to rewatch a little and they were all a bit bumpy in the beginning. Also I really need to see the ship and the permanent crew.

I really liked the actress playing Michael, and I think her character has great potential. But I'm bummed that the captain died. She was awesome.

She was awesome and I really would have loved a female leading duo.

I liked it, but I think I can only really tell when we will see the ship (the Discovery, I guess) and the crew that is going to be around for longer.
