Sherlock : The Reichenback Fall
I finally caught up with Sherlock and loved every second of the finale. I think it replaced Study in Pink as my favourite episode. So, all of you who saw it, how do you think he did it?
There are basically three lose ends I spotted in the episode (well either that or I missed something which is also very likely).
1.) There's the kid, who screamed when she saw Sherlock. It was never really resolved why.
2.) What did Sherlock need Molly to do?
3.) He is alive, so what fell down from the roof?
My guess is that Sherlock must have anticipated that Moriarty wanted him to kill himself so he prepared something, probably inspired by the fact that the kid recognized him, though she had never been in contact with him.
He probably needed Molly's help, because she was not close enough to him for Moriarty to matter in his scheme, also she has access to bodies. They could pick one that resembled Sherlock. At first I thought he had thrown down Moriarty in his clothes, maybe in the mask he had used to scare the children. But that's unplanable. He could not know Moriarty would kill himself and everything went to quick.
But if Molly had a body prepared, they could throw that down. John would of course know the difference. But he was run down by the bicycle (likely also prepared by Sherlock) and was drowsy when he arrived at the body, so the clothes and the blue eyes were enough to fool him?
And Sherlock mentioned Molly, so that John would contact her, even though he knew she was not on the list. Maybe so he could find out? Also Molly would then get the body and could write the autopsy report accordingly.
I forgot how Doyle brought Holmes back though, it's likely some twist of that.
So how do your theories run?

The ACD death-faking method won't work as in the story Watson doesn't see anything and no body is ever found - Holmes simply survives the initial fall (Moriarty doesn't), climbs back up the cliff and sneaks away.

My current theory is that he used the Baskerville gas to drug John into seeing what he expected to see and he and Molly threw down a previously prepared body. Still it is tricky, I really hope they have a good solution for it.
