Topher shot a nervous glance at Adelle who watched the security footage of two actives being chased by a small army of policemen without betraying the slightest emotion. She did not even flinch when a bullet hit Sierra. Yet now a frown was deepening on her forehead.
Topher almost jumped when Adelle suddenly addressed him: “How do you make them do it?”
“Uhm, what exactly?”
“Well, run like that in those ridiculous heels!”
“Oh, that”, Topher shrugged , “Scan of Australian sprinter slash transvestite who had thing for it. Not easy to integrate but very useful for emergency extractions.”
“Figures.”
