God, Rebecca's mum is so brilliantly terrible. I think "Where's the Bathroom" is among my Top 5 songs in the first season.

The whole episode is such a lovely dysfunctinal mess. I love how Greg is styling himself as a total victim of his supposedly terrible stepfamily and mum. Heather is really the total voice of sanity on this show. Also I kind of ship her with absolutely everybody.
Also how awesome is loathsome Valencia. This song is another absolute favorite of mine in season 1

I see this so fucking often, women professing lip service to feminism and the putting each other down. Songs and statements like this is why the feminism on this show always reminds me of Margaret Atwood, it never shies away from looking at women's roles in the whole mess and also not from naming double standards.
